Dailoom app privacy

No account. No analytics. No ads. No tracking. No developer-operated cloud service. Saved habits and history stay on your iPhone. AI processing may use Apple’s Private Cloud Compute as described below; the app does not transmit your habit data to the developer.

This policy applies to version 1.0 of the Dailoom iPhone app and this support website.

Data stored on your device

Dailoom stores the information you enter in the app, including habit names, optional descriptions and links, symbols and colors, tracking and schedule choices, notification times, start dates, ordering, archived status, and daily completion or count history. It also stores optional habit-plan details such as timing, place, motivation, and obstacles, accepted completion definitions, generated personal statements, and a compact summary of meaning explicitly shared during Refine. App preferences include appearance, week start, and haptic feedback.

This information is kept in Dailoom’s local app container on your iPhone. Dailoom does not offer an account, CloudKit sync, or a developer-operated backup service.

Apple Intelligence and voice input

Atomize uses your messages and relevant habit-plan details to help set up a habit. On supported devices, opening habit detail can also generate or refresh a personal statement from the saved habit’s action, schedule, plan, and remembered meaning. Refine uses the statement, those details, and recent conversation messages to propose new wording. Daily completion history is not included in these AI prompts.

The app prefers Apple’s Private Cloud Compute when available on iOS 27 or later; this sends the relevant prompt to Apple’s service and requires internet access. An on-device Apple Intelligence model is used when available as a fallback, including on supported iOS 26 devices. These features depend on device, language, region, system settings, and Apple’s usage limits. See Apple’s privacy information for its description of on-device processing and Private Cloud Compute.

The developer does not operate an AI server or receive these prompts or responses. The app does not save complete chat transcripts to its persistent store. Accepted habit details and personal statements are saved locally. During Refine, a compact summary of meaning you explicitly share is saved locally after a successful reply, even if you close the conversation without submitting a replacement statement.

Voice input requests microphone permission and uses Apple’s on-device speech transcription. Speech resources may need to be downloaded first. Dailoom does not save audio recordings; transcribed words become chat input and can be included in AI prompts as described above. You can type instead and manage microphone permission in iOS Settings.

Local notifications are scheduled only when you enable them and grant notification permission. A notification displays the habit name; its visibility on your Lock Screen follows your iOS notification settings.

What the developer receives

The developer does not receive, collect, sell, or share the habit data or preferences stored inside Dailoom. The app does not use analytics, advertising, or cross-app tracking. AI processing uses Apple’s frameworks as described above.

If you choose a Support or Privacy link in Settings, or an optional web link saved with a habit, iOS opens that external destination. The browser, website, email provider, or Apple service you choose may process information under its own privacy policy. That activity takes place outside Dailoom’s local data store.

Apple-managed backups

Depending on your iPhone settings, Apple-managed iCloud Backup or a backup made to a computer may include Dailoom’s local app data. These backups are controlled by you and Apple, not by the Dailoom developer. Apple explains that iCloud Backup can include app data for apps downloaded to a device in What does iCloud back up?

Deleting data in Dailoom or deleting the app does not necessarily remove copies already contained in an older device backup. Manage or delete those backups through your Apple device or account settings.

Retention and deletion

Dailoom retains a habit and its history locally until you permanently delete it or remove the app. Archiving a habit only hides it from the dashboard; the habit and its history remain on the device.

  • To permanently delete one habit, open Settings → Archived Habits, choose Delete for that habit, and confirm Delete Permanently. Its associated history is deleted with it.
  • To remove all current Dailoom data from the iPhone, delete the app. Dailoom has no remote account or server copy for the developer to delete.
  • Apple-managed device backups may retain older copies until you manage or delete those backups.

Support messages

If you voluntarily submit the support form, the developer receives your email address, selected topic, and message. Only the information you submit is included in the form; it does not attach or access your on-device habit data.

The form uses Formspree to process and store submissions and deliver email notifications. Formspree may also process technical information such as your IP address and browser details to operate its service and prevent spam. See Formspree’s Privacy Policy. Support notifications and replies are also processed by the email providers used for the conversation under their applicable privacy policies.

The developer uses support messages to respond to your request, troubleshoot issues, and maintain reasonable support records, not for advertising or sale. They are not combined with in-app habit data. Support records are kept only as long as reasonably needed for those purposes or to meet legal obligations. You may request deletion of a support conversation through the support form; select “Delete a support conversation” and use the email address from that conversation.

Policy changes and contact

If Dailoom’s data practices change, this page will be updated before the new practices apply, and the effective date above will change. A material app change will also be reflected in the app’s App Store privacy information and any required in-app disclosure.

Questions about this policy can be sent through the support form. Please do not include habit details you consider sensitive.
